Iowa High School Softball - Grand View Christian sneaks past Collins-Maxwell
June 28, 2025: Des Moines, IA 50317 The Grand View Christian Thunder softball team scored 1 runs and held the visiting Collins-Maxwell to 0 in the Thunder non-league win on Saturday.
The Thunder now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Perry for a Heart of Iowa battle on Monday, June 30. Grand View Christian will confront a Bluejays team coming off a 6-1 league win over South Hamilton (Jewell, IA). The Bluejays record now stands at 6-8.
With the loss, Collins-Maxwell moves to 14-7 on the season. The host GMG (Garwin, IA) to confront the Wolverines in a Iowa Star - South battle on Monday, June 30. The Wolverines come into the battle with a record of 10-8. GMG won 9-3 in their recent league battle against Baxter (Baxter, IA)
