Iowa High School Softball - North Linn sneaks past Mid-Prairie
June 28, 2025: Wellman, IA 52356 The North Linn Lynx (Troy Mills, IA) softball nipped the host Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks (Wellman, IA), 9-8 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Lynx now sport a 14-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marquette for a non-league outing on Monday, June 30. North Linn will encounter a Defenders team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Springville (Springville, IA). The Defenders record now stands at 12-10.
With the loss, Mid-Prairie moves to 5-13 on the season. The Golden hawks travel to Regina (Iowa City, IA) to encounter the Regals in a non-league outing on Monday, June 30. The Regals come into the outing with a record of 5-12.
