June 29, 2023: Remsen, IA 51050 Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the St. Mary's Hawks (Remsen, IA) and the visiting Lawton-Bronson Eagles (Lawton, IA), witnessed St. Mary's's softball squad prevail over Lawton-Bronson by a count of 13-0.
The Hawks now sport a 17-0 record. They play next when they travel to South O'Brien for a non-league match on Wednesday, July 5. St. Mary's will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 8-6 non-league win over Gehlen Catholic (Le Mars, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 10-15.
With the loss, Lawton-Bronson moves to 4-23 on the season. The Eagles travel to West Sioux (Hawarden, IA) to face the Falcons in a non-league match on Friday, June 30.
