June 29, 2024: Maquoketa, IA 52060 Maquoketa Cardinals (Maquoketa, IA) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting East Marshall Mustangs (Le Grand, IA), 4-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Maquoketa upgrades its record to 11-15 on the year. The Cardinals host Iowa City (Iowa City, IA) to play the Little Hawks in a non-league game on Monday, July 1. The Little Hawks enter the game with a record of 13-13.
The Mustangs now own a 27-4 record. They play next when they host Nevada for a non-league game on Wednesday, July 3.
