June 29, 2024: Jesup, IA 50648 Jesup J-Hawks (Jesup, IA) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Maquoketa Cardinals (Maquoketa, IA), 6-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Jesup upgrades its record to 20-8 on the year. The J-Hawks host West Fork (Sheffield, IA) to play the Warhawks in a non-league game on Tuesday, July 2. The Warhawks enter the game with a record of 15-7.
The Cardinals now own a 11-15 record. They play next when they host Iowa City for a non-league game on Monday, July 1.
