Rhode Island High School Lacrosse - Mt. Hope drops to Wheeler
June 3, 2021: Providence, RI 02906 Wheeler Warriors (Providence, RI) boosters exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI), 15-3 in a non-league battle.
The Warriors now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Moses Brown for a Division I battle on Monday, June 7. Wheeler will clash with a Quakers squad coming off a 20-5 league win over East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI). The Quakers record now stands at 9-2.
In their next game, the Huskies clash with the Middletown Islanders (Middletown, RI) in a battle, on Tuesday, June 8. Mt. Hope will attempt to advance on its 2-8 season record. The Islanders come into the battle with a 2-7 record after their 17-13 league loss to South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI).
