Vermont High School Baseball - Lyndon Institute gets by Springfield
June 3, 2022: Lyndon Center, VT 05850 Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Springfield Cosmos (Springfield, VT), 5-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lyndon Institute upgrades its record to 15-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to Hartford (White River Junction, VT) to battle the Hurricanes in a non-league test on Tuesday, June 7. The Hurricanes come into the test with a record of 9-8. Hartford won 9-2 in their recent non-league test against Enosburg Falls (Enosburg Falls, VT)
With the defeat, Springfield falls to 12-6 on the season.
