Pennsylvania High School Softball - Penn-Trafford can't get by Armstrong
June 3, 2022: Kittanning, PA 16201 In Friday's non-league contest, the Armstrong River Hawks (Kittanning, PA) softball team held off the visiting Penn-Trafford Warriors (Harrison City, PA), by a margin of 6-5.
With the triumph, Armstrong moves its record to 6-4 on the year. The River Hawks host Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA) to play the Colts in a non-league contest on Monday, June 6. The Colts come into the contest with a record of 15-5.
In their next game, the Warriors play the Twin Valley Raiders (Elverson, PA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, June 6. Penn-Trafford will attempt to move on its 18-3 season record. The Raiders come into the contest with a 10-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Shippensburg (Shippensburg, PA).
