Avonworth Antelopes (Pittsburgh, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Central Dragons (Martinsburg, PA), 6-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Avonworth upgrades its record to 19-8 on the season. The Antelopes travel to Fairview (Fairview, PA) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Thursday, June 6. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 17-3. Fairview won 7-3 in their recent non-league test against Burrell (Lower Burrell, PA)

With the defeat, Central falls to 16-8 on the season.
