Indianola Indians (Indianola, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting A-D-M Tigers (Adel, IA), 10-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 25-11 record. They take the field next when they host Ottumwa for a non-league challenge on Monday, July 3.

With the defeat, A-D-M drops to 22-11 on the year. The Tigers travel to Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA) to play the Rams in a non-league contest on Wednesday, July 5. The Rams come into the contest with a record of 26-9.
