June 30, 2023: Bondurant, IA 50035 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Independence Mustangs (Independence, IA) and the host Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays (Bondurant, IA), witnessed Independence's softball squad tip Bondurant-Farrar by a count of 3-0.
The Mustangs now sport a 18-20 record. They play next when they travel to Bettendorf for a non-league match on Saturday, July 1. Independence will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Valley (Elgin, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 22-9.
With the loss, Bondurant-Farrar moves to 16-17 on the season. The Bluejays host Saydel (Des Moines, IA) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Monday, July 3. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 20-5. Saydel won 5-0 in their recent non-league match against Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA)
