Iowa High School Baseball - Vinton-Shellsburg holds off Central City
June 4, 2024: Vinton, IA 52349 Vinton-Shellsburg Vikings (Vinton, IA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their baseball team gain a win over the visiting Central City Wildcats (Central City, IA), 4-0 in a non-league game.
The Vikings (2-9) will now prepare for their game against Benton (Van Horne, IA). The Bobcats go into the WaMac-West game with a 12-4 record.
The Wildcats (4-6) will now prepare for their game against Easton Valley (Preston, IA). The go into the non-league game with a 4-7 record. In their last game, Easton Valley tipped Calamus-Wheatland (Wheatland, IA), 9-0, in a non-league game.
