Virginia High School Soccer - Western Branch overwhelmed by Freedom
June 4, 2024: Chesapeake, VA 23321 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Freedom Eagles (South Riding, VA) and the host Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA), saw Freedom's soccer squad triumph over Western Branch by a count of 5-0.
The Eagles now hold a 22-0 record. They play next when they travel to James Madison for a non-league test on Friday, June 7. Freedom will meet a Warhawks squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology (Alexandria, VA). The Warhawks record now stands at 16-2.
With the loss, Western Branch drops to 15-4 on the season.
