Iowa High School Baseball - New London loses to Mt. Pleasant
June 4, 2025: Mt. Pleasant, IA 52641 Mt. Pleasant Panthers (Mt. Pleasant, IA) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting New London Tigers (New London, IA), 8-4 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Mt. Pleasant advances its record to 3-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to Washington (Washington, IA) to battle the Demons in a Southeast match on Thursday, June 5. The Demons come into the match with a record of 1-2.
The Tigers now have a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notre Dame for a SE IA Super - South match on Thursday, June 5. New London will battle a Nikes squad coming off a 6-2 league win over West Burlington (West Burlington, IA). The Nikes record now stands at 3-1.
