Minnesota High School Softball - Hawley edges Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial
June 4, 2025: Lake Crystal, MN 56055 In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Hawley Nuggets softball team scored a tight 3-1 win over the Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial Knights.
The Nuggets (20-1) will now prepare for their match against St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN). The Crusaders come into the non-league match with a 34-5 record. In their last match, St. Cloud Cathedral nipped Randolph (Randolph, MN), 8-6, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Knights battle the Spectrum Sting (Elk River, MN) in a non-league match, on Thursday, June 5. Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial will attempt to better on its 18-2 season record. The Sting come into the match with a 14-1 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Esko (Esko, MN).
