Iowa High School Baseball - Forest City defeats Central Springs
June 5, 2025: Manly, IA 50456 The Forest City Indians (Forest City, IA) baseball trounced the host Central Springs Panthers (Manly, IA), 9-3 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Indians now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Hancock for a Top of Iowa - West challenge on Friday, June 6. Forest City will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 6-5 league win over North Iowa (Buffalo Center, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, Central Springs drops to 3-3 on the year. The Panthers travel to Northwood-Kensett (Northwood, IA) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Monday, June 9. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Northwood-Kensett lost 14-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Newman Catholic (Mason City, IA)
