Iowa High School Softball - Sheldon bested by South O'Brien
June 5, 2025: Sheldon, IA 51201 The South O'Brien Wolverines triumphed over the host Sheldon Orabs softball squad by a count of 15-7 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Wolverines play the St. Mary's Hawks (Remsen, IA) in a War Eagle challenge, on Friday, June 6. South O'Brien will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 8-3 league win over West Sioux (Hawarden, IA).
The Orabs (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Lyon (Rock Rapids, IA). The Lions enter the Siouxland challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Central Lyon was routed by Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union (Marcus, IA), 8-0, in a non-league challenge.
