The Salem Spartans lacrosse squad scored 13 points and limited the host Broad Run Spartans to 5 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now own a 15-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hanover for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, June 9. Salem will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a 12-8 non-league win over Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Broad Run falls to 11-8 on the year.
