Texas High School Baseball - Lovejoy holds off Magnolia West
June 6, 2024: Magnolia, TX 77354 Lovejoy Leopards (Lucas, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Magnolia West Mustangs (Magnolia, TX), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lovejoy upgrades its record to 30-7 on the season. The Leopards travel to Grapevine (Grapevine, TX) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league test on Saturday, June 8. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 39-5. Grapevine won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Rouse (Leander, TX)
With the defeat, Magnolia West falls to 27-15 on the season.
