San Leandro Pirates (San Leandro, CA) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Aptos Mariners (Aptos, CA), 11-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, San Leandro upgrades its record to 23-8 on the year. The Pirates travel to East Nicolaus (Nicolaus, CA) to play the Spartans in a non-league game on Saturday, June 7. The Spartans enter the bout with a record of 23-6. East Nicolaus won 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA)
