Iowa High School Softball - Murray topped by Clarinda
June 6, 2025: Murray, IA 50174 Clarinda Cardinals (Clarinda, IA) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Murray Mustangs (Murray, IA), 16-6 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Clarinda upgrades its record to 8-2 on the year. The Cardinals host St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA) to play the Falcons in a Hawkeye 10 game on Monday, June 9. The Falcons enter the game with a record of 2-5.
The Mustangs now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Mount Ayr for a non-league game on Monday, June 9. Murray will play a Raiders squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to Lenox (Lenox, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 2-4.
