June 7, 2022: Middlebury, VT 05753 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT) and the host Middlebury Tigers (Middlebury, VT), witnessed Lyndon Institute's softball squad prevail over Middlebury by a count of 15-5.
The Vikings now sport a 18-0 record. They play next when they travel to Enosburg Falls for a non-league match on Friday, June 10. Lyndon Institute will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Mt. Abraham (Bristol, VT). The Hornets record now stands at 14-3.
With the loss, Middlebury moves to 2-1 on the season.
