New Hampshire High School Softball - Prospect Mountain bounces Newport
June 7, 2022: Alton, NH 03809 Prospect Mountain Timberwolves (Alton, NH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Newport Tigers (Newport, NH), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Timberwolves now own a 18-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Campbell for a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 11. Prospect Mountain will face a squad coming off a 13-5 non-league win over Berlin (Berlin, NH). The record now stands at 10-0.
With the loss, Newport falls to 8-1 on the campaign.
