June 7, 2025: Grosse Pointe, MI 48236 The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI) and the visiting Woodhaven Warriors (Brownstown, MI), saw Grosse Pointe South's baseball team get by Woodhaven by a tally of 5-4.
The Blue Devils (33-7) will now prepare for their battle against University of Detroit Jesuit (Detroit, MI). The Cubs enter the non-league battle with a 10-19 record. In their last battle, University of Detroit Jesuit held off Seaholm/Groves (Birmingham, MI), 17-2, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Warriors encounter the Franklin Patriots (Livonia, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, June 7. Woodhaven will attempt to advance on its 33-9 season record. The Patriots enter the bout with a 33-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Edsel Ford (Dearborn, MI).
