Iowa High School Baseball - Unity Christian prevails Newell-Fonda
June 7, 2025: Newell, IA 50568 The Unity Christian Knights baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Newell-Fonda Mustangs to 1 in the Knights non-league win on Saturday.
The Knights now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley for a Siouxland test on Monday, June 9. Unity Christian will clash with a NIGHTHAWKS team coming off a 14-11 non-league win over Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA). The NIGHTHAWKS record now stands at 4-4.
With the defeat, Newell-Fonda drops to 3-5 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA) to clash with the E'Hawks in a Twin Lakes test on Monday, June 9. The E'Hawks go into the test with a record of 3-3. Emmetsburg won 6-3 in their recent non-league test against Spirit Lake (Spirit Lake, IA)
