Iowa High School Softball - Davis County bounces New London
June 7, 2025: Bloomfield, IA 52537 In Saturday's non-league match, the host Davis County Mustangs softball team scored a nice 14-5 victory over the New London Tigers.
The Mustangs (4-5) will now prepare for their match against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (Eddyville, IA). The Rockets go into the South Central match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont gained a win over West Burlington (West Burlington, IA), 7-5, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Wapello Indians (Wapello, IA) in a non-league match, on Monday, June 9. New London will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Indians go into the match with a 3-5 record after their 4-1 league win over Pekin (Packwood, IA).
