Iowa High School Softball - Denver bounces South Hamilton
June 7, 2025: Denver, IA 50622 The Denver Cyclones (Denver, IA) softball routed the visiting South Hamilton Hawks (Jewell, IA), 9-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Cyclones now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Columbus for a North Iowa Cedar - Central outing on Monday, June 9. Denver will encounter a Sailors team coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA). The Sailors record now stands at 1-7.
With the loss, South Hamilton moves to 1-9 on the season. The Hawks travel to Greene County (Jefferson, IA) to encounter the Rams in a Heart of Iowa outing on Monday, June 9. The Rams come into the outing with a record of 4-5. Greene County lost 7-5 in their recent league outing against West Marshall (State Center, IA)
