Iowa High School Softball - Sioux Center bounces Emmetsburg
June 7, 2025: Emmetsburg, IA 50536 In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Sioux Center Warriors softball team scored a nice 15-4 victory over the Emmetsburg E'Hawks.
The Warriors (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Sibley-Ocheyedan (Sibley, IA). The Generals go into the Siouxland match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Sibley-Ocheyedan was routed by MOC-Floyd Valley (Orange City, IA), 23-3, in a league match.
In their next game, the E'Hawks battle the Newell-Fonda Mustangs (Newell, IA) in a Twin Lakes match, on Monday, June 9. Emmetsburg will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the match with a 6-2 record after their 19-5 non-league win over North Union (Armstrong, IA).
