Punxsutawney Chucks (Punxsutawney, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA), 6-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Punxsutawney upgrades its record to 20-2 on the season. The Chucks travel to Riverside (Ellwood City, PA) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Monday, June 12. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 23-0. Riverside won 9-3 in their recent non-league test against Fairview (Fairview, PA)

With the defeat, Philipsburg-Osceola falls to 17-8 on the campaign.
