June 8, 2023: State Center, IA 50247 The West Marshall Trojans softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Vinton-Shellsburg Vikings to 1 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, West Marshall moves its record to 2-3 on the year. The Trojans travel to Saydel (Des Moines, IA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, June 9. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 5-0.
In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Wapsie Valley Warriors (Fairbank, IA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, June 13. Vinton-Shellsburg will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
