Michigan High School Softball - New Lothrop nudges Cass City
June 8, 2024: Cass City, MI 48726 New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Cass City Red Hawks (Cass City, MI), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Hornets now own a 26-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clare for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, June 11. New Lothrop will face a Pioneers squad coming off a 8-2 non-league win over Standish-Sterling (Standish, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 36-5.
With the loss, Cass City falls to 20-7 on the campaign.
