Iowa High School Softball - Central DeWitt nudges Midland
June 8, 2024: Wyoming, IA 52362 Central DeWitt (DeWitt, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Midland Eagles (Wyoming, IA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
The now own a 4-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Davenport West for a Mississippi Athletic challenge on Monday, June 10. Central DeWitt will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 4-2 league loss to Muscatine (Muscatine, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 2-11.
With the loss, Midland falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Eagles host Central City (Central City, IA) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, June 10. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 10-7. Central City lost 15-3 in their recent league challenge against Alburnett (Alburnett, IA)
