June 8, 2024: Eddyville, IA 52553 The Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Rockets softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Melcher-Dallas Saints to 0 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont moves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Rockets host Clarke (Osceola, IA) to encounter the Indians in a non-league test on Monday, June 10. The Indians enter the test with a record of 2-8. Clarke won 13-6 in their recent non-league test against Lenox (Lenox, IA)
The Saints (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA). The Warhawks enter the non-league test with a 10-1 record. In their last test, Southeast Warren was routed by Wayne (Corydon, IA), 4-1, in a league test.
