Pipestone Arrows (Pipestone, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders (St. Cloud, MN), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Arrows now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Le Sueur-Henderson for a non-league challenge on Friday, June 10. Pipestone will battle a Giants squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN). The Giants record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, St. Cloud Cathedral falls to 1-2 on the campaign.
