Iowa High School Softball - Carroll gets by Roland-Story
June 9, 2023: Carroll, IA 51401 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Carroll Tigers (Carroll, IA) and the visiting Roland-Story Norsemen (Story City, IA), witnessed Carroll's softball squad tip Roland-Story by a count of 4-3.
The Tigers now sport a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Winterset for a non-league match on Monday, June 12. Carroll will face a Huskies squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Ogden (Ogden, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Roland-Story moves to 4-5 on the season. The Norsemen travel to Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA) to face the Monarchs in a non-league match on Saturday, June 10. The Monarchs go into the match with a record of 6-4. Denison-Schleswig lost 1-0 in their recent league match against Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA)
