Iowa High School Baseball - Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS sneaks past North Iowa
July 1, 2024: Buffalo Center, IA 50424 The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS (Clarion, IA) and the host North Iowa Bison (Buffalo Center, IA), saw Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS's baseball team get by North Iowa by a tally of 7-6.
The (10-16) will now prepare for their battle against Iowa Falls-Alden (Iowa Falls, IA). The Cadets enter the non-league battle with a 4-16 record. In their last battle, Iowa Falls-Alden was nipped by AGWSR (Ackley, IA), 14-12, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, North Iowa drops to 2-21 on the year. The Bison host West Hancock (Britt, IA) to clash with the Eagles in a Top of Iowa - West challenge on Wednesday, July 3. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 1-17.
