Iowa High School Baseball - Pocahontas loses to South Hamilton
July 1, 2024: Pocahontas, IA 50574 In Monday's non-league bout, the South Hamilton Hawks (Jewell, IA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Pocahontas Indians (Pocahontas, IA), by a tally of 10-2.
Next up, the Hawks encounter the BCLUW Comets (Conrad, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, July 6. South Hamilton will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Comets enter the bout with a 7-12 record after their 20-19 non-league win over Colfax-Mingo (Colfax, IA).
The Indians (12-10) will now prepare for their bout against Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire (Ruthven, IA). The Titans enter the Twin Lakes bout with a 2-14 record. In their last bout, Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire was overwhelmed by Estherville Lincoln Central (Estherville, IA), 13-1, in a non-league bout.
