Iowa High School Baseball - Cascade sneaks past East Buchanan
July 1, 2025: Cascade, IA 52033 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Cascade Cougars (Cascade, IA) and the visiting East Buchanan Buccaneers (Winthrop, IA), saw Cascade's baseball team get by East Buchanan by a tally of 2-1.
The Cougars (13-7) will now prepare for their battle against Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league battle with a 21-1 record. In their last battle, Mediapolis held off Wapello (Wapello, IA), 10-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Buccaneers face the North Cedar Knights (Stanwood, IA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, July 5. East Buchanan will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record.
