July 1, 2025: Jesup, IA 50648 The Don Bosco Dons baseball team scored 16 runs and held the host Jesup J-Hawks to 3 in the Dons non-league win on Tuesday.
The Dons now own a 20-5 record. They take the field next when they host Grundy Center for a non-league test on Wednesday, July 2. Don Bosco will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 13-1 league win over Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA). The Spartans record now stands at 19-2.
With the defeat, Jesup drops to 7-18 on the year. The J-hawks host Alburnett (Alburnett, IA) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league test on Wednesday, July 2. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 16-11. Alburnett lost 6-5 in their recent league test against Starmont (Arlington, IA)
