July 1, 2025: West Burlington, IA 52655 The Mt. Pleasant Panthers triumphed over the host West Burlington Falcons softball squad by a count of 17-10 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers play the Davis County Mustangs (Bloomfield, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, July 2. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 6-25 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 15-7 record after their 5-3 league win over Chariton (Chariton, IA).
The Falcons (14-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA). The Golden Hawks enter the non-league challenge with a 5-18 record. In their last challenge, Mid-Prairie was routed by Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (Eddyville, IA), 24-5, in a non-league challenge.
