Iowa High School Softball - Prairie City-Monroe bounces Southeast Valley
July 10, 2025: Gowrie, IA 50543 The Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Southeast Valley Jaguars to 0 in the Mustangs non-league win on Thursday.
The Mustangs now sport a 23-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greene County for a Heart of Iowa battle on Saturday, July 12. Prairie City-Monroe will confront a Rams team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Des Moines Christian (Des Moines, IA). The Rams record now stands at 16-11.
With the loss, Southeast Valley moves to 13-13 on the season.
