Iowa High School Baseball - Kingsley-Pierson holds off Alta-Aurelia
July 13, 2024: Alta, IA 95678 The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Kingsley-Pierson Panthers (Kingsley, IA) and the host Alta-Aurelia Warriors (Alta, IA), saw Kingsley-Pierson's baseball team beat Alta-Aurelia by a margin of 4-0.
The Panthers (18-11) will now prepare for their battle against Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA). The Westerners go into the non-league challenge with a 26-3 record. In their last challenge, Akron-Westfield nipped Gehlen Catholic (Le Mars, IA), 8-3, in a league challenge.
With the defeat, Alta-Aurelia drops to 21-8 on the year.
