Iowa High School Softball - Unity Christian drops to Hinton
July 2, 2024: Orange City, IA 51041 Hinton Blackhawks (Hinton, IA) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Unity Christian Knights (Orange City, IA), 14-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Hinton improves its record to 16-8 on the year. The Blackhawks travel to Woodbury Central (Moville, IA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league game on Wednesday, July 3. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 19-8. Woodbury Central won 9-6 in their recent non-league game against Cherokee Washington (Cherokee, IA)
The Knights now hold a 14-8 record. They play next when they host Sioux Central for a non-league game on Wednesday, July 3. Unity Christian will play a Rebels squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Westwood (Sloan, IA). The Rebels record now stands at 19-5.
