July 2, 2025: Harlan, IA 51537 The Underwood Eagles (Underwood, IA) baseball got by the host Harlan Cyclones (Harlan, IA), 6-5 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 21-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clarinda for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, July 8. Underwood will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 5-0 league win over Shenandoah (Shenandoah, IA). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-15.
With the defeat, Harlan drops to 21-9 on the year. The Cyclones travel to St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA) to clash with the Falcons in a Hawkeye 10 challenge on Thursday, July 3. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 12-14. St. Albert lost 15-13 in their recent non-league challenge against Kingsley-Pierson (Kingsley, IA)
