Iowa High School Softball - Colo-NESCO drops to B-G-M
July 2, 2025: Colo, IA 50056 B-G-M Bears (Brooklyn, IA) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Colo-NESCO Royals (Colo, IA), 14-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, B-G-M improves its record to 16-6 on the year. The Bears travel to South Tama County (Tama, IA) to face the Trojans in a non-league game on Thursday, July 3. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 1-22. South Tama County lost 13-1 in their recent non-league game against Independence (Independence, IA)
The Royals now hold a 4-21 record. They play next when they travel to AGWSR for a non-league game on Monday, July 7. Colo-NESCO will face a Cougars squad coming off a 9-4 non-league loss to Clarksville (Clarksville, IA). The Cougars record now stands at 8-23.
