Iowa High School Softball - St. Mary's bounces West Sioux
July 2, 2025: Remsen, IA 51050 In Wednesday's league match, the host St. Mary's Hawks softball team scored a tight 10-5 victory over the West Sioux Falcons.
The Hawks (8-5) will now prepare for their match against Lawton-Bronson (Lawton, IA). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 11-14 record. In their last match, Lawton-Bronson was routed by Western Christian (Hull, IA), 4-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Central Lyon Lions (Rock Rapids, IA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, July 3. West Sioux will attempt to better on its 11-11 season record. The Lions go into the match with a 4-15 record after their 6-2 non-league loss to West Sioux (Hawarden, IA).
