Iowa High School Softball - Emmetsburg topped by St. Ansgar
July 3, 2024: Emmetsburg, IA 50536 St. Ansgar Saints (St. Ansgar, IA) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Emmetsburg E'Hawks (Emmetsburg, IA), 8-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, St. Ansgar upgrades its record to 22-8 on the year. The Saints host West Fork (Sheffield, IA) to play the Warhawks in a Top of Iowa-East game on Monday, July 8. The Warhawks enter the game with a record of 16-7.
The E'Hawks now own a 8-15 record. They play next when they travel to Humboldt for a non-league game on Friday, July 5. Emmetsburg will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 12-7 non-league loss to Spencer (Spencer, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-17.
