Iowa High School Softball - Valley bounces Winterset
July 3, 2024: Elgin, IA 52141 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Valley Tigers (Elgin, IA) and the visiting Winterset Huskies (Winterset, IA), observed Valley's softball team get by Winterset by a tally of 5-1.
The Tigers (17-2) will now prepare for their bout against Dallas Center-Grimes (Dallas Center, IA). The Mustangs go into the non-league bout with a 30-8 record. In their last bout, Dallas Center-Grimes tipped Iowa City West (Iowa City, IA), 11-0, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Huskies clash with the Wahlert Golden Eagles (Dubuque, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, July 6. Winterset will attempt to advance on its 22-18 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a 14-1 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Ankeny (Ankeny, IA).
