July 5, 2023: Winthrop, IA 50682 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the East Buchanan Buccaneers (Winthrop, IA) and the visiting Nashua-Plainfield Huskies (Nashua, IA), saw East Buchanan's baseball squad knock off Nashua-Plainfield by a count of 10-4.
Coming up next, the Buccaneers play the North Linn Lynx (Troy Mills, IA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, July 8. East Buchanan will attempt to move on its 12-8 season record. The Lynx enter the battle with a 23-4 record after their 11-3 non-league win over North Tama (Traer, IA).
The Huskies now possess a 16-8 record.
