Iowa High School Softball - Dallas Center-Grimes bounces Iowa City West
July 5, 2024: Iowa City, IA 52246 The Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Iowa City West Trojans to 0 in the Mustangs non-league win on Friday.
The Mustangs now possess a 30-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley for a non-league battle on Tuesday, July 9.
With the loss, Iowa City West moves to 2-15 on the season. The Trojans travel to Marshalltown (Marshalltown, IA) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league battle on Thursday, July 11. The Bobcats come into the battle with a record of 16-24. Marshalltown won 18-8 in their recent non-league battle against Hoover (Des Moines, IA)
